tapeworm

Smoke another cigarette, still want another cigarette, throw more booze into your sickened guts

climb the wall and find a friend but walls of flesh divide us

all the mirrors, change the mirrors, all the mirrors still show your face

break the mirrors, no mirrors show your face, it’s still your face

always hungry, don’t want to eat

I got in touch with my feelings and found I didn’t have any

never drunk enough, never asleep for long enough

you’re not allowed to hurt them by dying until you have no choice to hurt them by dying

at least you’re not hurting them by living any longer

looked for meaning – found no meaning; tried to find meaning in no meaning – couldn’t

rinse and repeat
