it’s like you’re on a deathbed machine and surrounded by pumps and valves, tubes and wires, and you’re drowning in reality forced into your veins a horrible fleshy sizzling in your mouth teeth like wet pebbles shifting in rotten gums and the transmission’s off – it’s all garbage, rattling through your brain, just tiring psychedelic filler, you’re going nowhere, you traded the kingdom of god to help with your drinking and to sleep through the night
